Breast feeding in Kent

Working with PSB and KCC Public Health to improve information and support around infant feeding across Kent

Working with PS Breastfeeding, we are creating a user panel of parents and workers to discuss and influence Breastfeeding support services and issues on a county wide and local level.As part of this role we are also undertaking work across Kent, visiting groups to speak to mothers and professionals to understand experiences, current issues and changing attitudes to breast feeding.

We have been carrying out in depth work in localities including Sheppey, Dover town and Parkwood in Maidstone, as well as looking in specific issues including Tongue-tie and early days support.

Along with local partners an communities we are co-designing an infant feeding support pathway in Kent. Please get in touch to find out more.
